Mr Mink was born in Brooklyn and grew up as a secular Jew. The book tells of his journey from New York to the Old City of Jerusalem.
Written in short chapters, the book is easy to dip into. he shares of his work experience, his 5 marriages and how he came to be a home owner in the holiest part of the world.
